Iniciando en el mundo de los blogs..., tengo que decirles que no es algo que esperaba hacer hoy en la mañana, ayer me acosté casi a la 1:00 am (tocó ensayo) y el despertador sonó a las 5:00 am, soy de esas personas que necesita dormir sus 7 horas por lo menos para funcionar un poco mejor!

Por cierto, te escribe Alfonso, guitarrista del grupo y en este primer blog quiero compartirte una de las experiencias menos contadas pero que considero son importantes en la historia del grupo, o por lo menos en mi historia con la banda. 

Quiero platicarte de mi primer guitarra eléctrica "Hashish", una Squier by Fender que mi madre me obsequió cuando cumplí mis 15 años, sí, ya se lo que vas a decir, que bueno que no me hicieron quinceañera! Jajaja!

Estábamos en 1991 y aun cuando mi madre intentó persuadirme para que no me comprara la guitarra y utilizara el dinero para viajar a la Ciudad de México o inclusive comprarme un teclado, su carta concluía con una frase que decía algo así: "si te decides por la guitarra, nos tendremos que poner de acuerdo con lo del ruido"... 

Para mí, no había mucho que pensar, desde 1989 a esa fecha ya había tomado la decisión de conocer más acerca del Hard Rock, tenía un par de meses "cascareandole" a una guitarra acústica de mi padre, aprendiendome el tremendo riff de la cucaracha entre otros grandes éxitos. 

Total, me decidí por comprar una guitarra que aunque nunca fue participe de grabar ningún demo completo (creo que la única rola que grabé con esa lira fue la de Camino al Fin V2 por otra anécdota que después contaremos por aquí), fue mi fiel acompañante por los primeros 8 años de carrera artística, así es, tiempos difíciles. 

Esta guitarra es importante para mí, ya que aunque es bien pinche mentirosa, ya está viejita pues, fue con la que se compusieron las primeras veintitantas rolas de Solsticio, es con la que toqué en los inicios del grupo hasta el año 2000 y continúa resguardada con un gran valor simbólico por todas las aventuras que las neruonas aún no olvidan. 

Cabe mencionar que esta lira fue modelo en nuestro actual CD Déjà Vu, ya que además de salir en varias partes del Digipack, también aparece en el disco compacto, toda una musa la cabrona!

Starting in the world of blogging ..., I have to tell you that it is not something I expected to do this morning, yesterday I went to bed at almost 1:00 am (rehersal time!) and the alarm went off at 5:00 am, I am one of those people who need at least 7 hours of sleep to function a little better! By the way, I'm Alfonso, guitarist of the group, in this first blog I want to share with you one of the experiences less told but that I consider are important in the history of the group, or at least in my history with the band. 

I want to tell you about my first "Hashish" electric guitar, a Squier by Fender that my mother gave me when I was 15 years old, yes, I know what you are going to say, it's good that they didn't celebrate with a "Quinceañera"! Hahaha! 

We were in 1991 and even when my mother tried to persuade me not to buy a guitar and suggested that I use the money to travel to Mexico City or even buy a keyboard, her letter ended with a phrase that said something like this: "If you decide to buy the guitar, we'll have to talk about the noise "... 

For me, there was not much to think about, since in1989 to that date I had already made the decision to learn more about Hard Rock, I had a couple of months "rattling" on an acoustic guitar of my father, learning the tremendous riff of "La Cucaracha". among other great musical successes...

Overall, I decided to buy a guitar that, although I never participated in recording any complete demo with it (I think the only song I recorded with Hashish was the song of "Camino al Fin V2" due to another anecdote that we will later talk), it was my faithful companion for the first 8 years of artistic career, yes, hard times. 

This guitar is important to me, because although it is a very fucking liar, (it's a really old piece), it helped me to compose the first twenty-odd songs of Solsticio, it is with which I played at the beginning of the group until the year 2000 and it continues to be protected with great symbolic value for all the adventures that my neurons have not forgotten yet. 

It is worth mentioning that this guitar was a model in our current CD Déjà Vu, since in addition to appearing in various parts of the Digipack, it also appears on the compact disc, a whole muse la cabrona!
